    I'm back.

After a self-imposed hiatus I'm back.  In all areas of my life.  I checked out for a hot minute.

Working for a large corporation? blows.  500 layoffs the other day, not including me, but it makes me reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaal nervous.

I've been working up the will to clean my apartment.  So far, I've mustered nothing.

    Trying to do art again?

Considering the repercussions of moving back in with ex fiance.  Have been 'working things out' with said fiance, but risks are lame, and I have to figure out whether to take them or not.  However, I love him, he loves me, and lets face it: pulling rent and bill money out of the nonexistent cache in my ass is getting old.  I don't know.  I'll get guidance somewhere, I'll figure it out, I usually do.

    Alysa: Uncle Diddles.

Anyway, I'm out, I have two cats to terrorize with a vaccum.

    Antibiotics? Sign me up.

Tuesday, November 13, 2007, 11:41 PM EST [General]

I caved and went to the doctor.  Sho nuff, sinus infection/ear infection/mild bronchitis.

    My drainage system is AWESOME!

Anyhoo, so now I am on antibiotics for a week, which is fine.  This is the first time I've been sick sick in a while.

I'm getting in touch with my craftiness again.  No, seriously, I went to Michael's and bought craft stuff.  I bought a few balsa wood boxes to paint -no ideas as of yet- and a bunch of neat beads.  I've been tooling around with the idea of making different pieces of jewelry with different blessings 'attached' to them.  Possibly gifts.  The dilemma here is that no one I know knows about me (I've been practicing for 8 years, and only two people know).  It's not that I'm ashamed, or afraid, it just seems like something that is private for me.  Back to the dilemma, I want to make this jewelry with various blessings, and I'm concerned as to whether or not it would be 'bad' to give them to people without their knowledge of what is attached to said jewelry, even if it is nothing but good stuff.

Two friends know...an ex of mine who talked about interest in it so I let him know and we talked, turns out it's a passing fancy thing for him, I think, and something vaguely to due with being goth.  I told him not to pursue it unless he was serious about it.

The other friend I've known for ten years, and I had to tell her.  She moved into a house in the middle of the country and talked about strange things happening. At first she wasn't too clear...she said she was outside having a cigarette one night, heard a noise, looked over where said noises came from, saw something that was Upright running away.  Upon pressing, she didn't think it was human.  Upon further pressing, she admitted that the house had weird rock formations and random charm fixtures in weird areas that her 5 year old would find and bring to her.

Well, her being a southern baptist, I had bad images in my mind so I figured I'd better go take a look-see at this place.

Sure enough, a witch had lived there, but there were no ill feelings around the property.  There were two circles set up, one with a simple rock slab altar and another with a fire pit at the center.  I asked to see some of the charms that her daughter found, but she said she had thrown them out.  She said the dogs avoided the circles, and she was scared of whatever she saw that night.

Anyway, turns out the one of the circles wasn't closed, so I closed it for her, took a look at some necklaces that had been left behind (one was blessed with attraction, the other one I couldn't figure out, but knew that whatever it had been blessed with was personal), and told her nothing was wrong, whoever lived here was good, and there was nothing to worry about spooky wise.

I told her that what she saw, whatever it was, was probably attracted by the circles, and harmless to her.  She said it definitely wasn't human, but it was animal and walked upright.  She said there was no possibility it was a deer because the shape was definitely humanoid, but moved too fast and was too tall.  I assured her it was alright, whatever it was was just attracted to the energy on the property, and probably would not make its presence known to her again.

I was just surprised that lady left her circle open.   But my friend said the couple moved -literally- overnight in a hurry, and that worried her, too.  I assured her that no negative energy was around, nothing terrible had happened on the property, and nothing but good energy was around.

It's kind of weird coming out to a friend like that.  She was a little freaked out, but we don't really discuss it.  I think she was pretty thankful that I was able to put her mind at ease about this crazy house.

I'm kind of jealous, because that house is PERFECT in a lot of ways.  Lots of nature, good soil, and natural faerie circles around.  It's just a nice place.

Anyhow, that's my two cents for now.  I figured maybe I'd better post a blog about something that had nothing -or at least not a lot- to do with the state of my sinuses.

     later taters!

ps- any ideas on what the upright thing might have been?  the description was whiteish, tall, upright, animal, fast.

    Are we best friends?

Saturday, November 3, 2007, 09:54 AM EST [General]

Apparently we are, because I can't figure out how to work my site, so everyone who befriends me automatically goes into my best friends category.

But that's the way things should be, right?

No pumpkin for me this year..i donated it to a friend for the greater good.  The greater good meaning his halloween party, but i figured he and others would enjoy it more.  If I had carved it, it would have been hanging out on my porch, attracted bugs, and dumb kids to throw it off the balcony.

Nothing else really going on...I'm STILL sick, so Samhain wasn't as rocking as I wanted it to be.  I had a little kick-ass ritual planned, but it ended up being more of a quick prayer than anything. Ah, well.  I'll save all the pomp for next year.

Well...I'm off.  My saturday consists of cleaning and...cleaning.

     !!!!!

Halloween, Samhain, and lots of tomfoolery.

Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 11:14 PM EST [General]

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a pumpkin to carve.  But I've put it off a lot, so tomorrow after work, it's on.

I'll post crazy pictures of it.

    Prepping for goodness...

    This cold is ridiculous.

Anybody know of any good online stores?  There are only a few in Atlanta, and only one I really trust for quality AND price, and it's a good hour drive away from me.  any tips for pagan ebay or pagan sundries online would be awesome.

    Sundries.  Excellent word.

Anyway, good wishes for you, and have a good samhain!

    !

Because I got me a cold!  SWEET!

Anyhoo, nothing much happening over on this end...besides lots of kleenex.

I'm going to carve me a pumpkin tomorrow night.

I went to a halloween party last night, but it wasn't as awesome as it could have been because I felt like poo.  I did, however, do some AWESOME zombie makeup, but that will be undocumented as I had no camera.

Tip: dish soap mixed with fake blood = longer lasting color and texture.

Prepping for a mean samhain, for sure.

See the reaping?  I didn't dig it too much.  I don't dig terrible CG meteors.

Well, now I'm starting to write about unimportant things, which is my cue to exit stage left.

    !!!!!!!!!!!
